EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Diana Dress Designer’s Companies Both Go Bust

In 1981, the iconic wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to Prince Charles at St Paul’s Cathedral featured a legendary bridal gown crafted by David Emanuel and his wife Elizabeth. The ivory silk taffeta creation, adorned with intricate lace and a 25-foot train, captivated an estimated 750 million viewers worldwide.

Despite its global acclaim, the design did not secure David Emanuel lasting financial success. Newly filed documents reveal that both his ventures, Licensed to Design and Renaissance Man, have collapsed, leaving debts totaling nearly £300,000. The liabilities include £280,443 owed to creditors, with assets valued at £164,000 marked as ‘uncertain to realise.’

Fixtures and fittings worth £96,000, along with directors’ loans of £60,000, are also listed as uncertain. Additional debts include £72,000 to HMRC for corporation tax, £103,000 to NatWest Bank, and £33,000 to Ovo Energy. David Emanuel, who recently lost a High Court case against his former wife Elizabeth, has disclosed these financial obligations to liquidators.

David, 73, and his daughter Eloise, 29, are among the creditors listed, with respective claims of £44,438 and £5,000. The Welshman’s financial troubles resurfaced after the dissolution of his marriage to Elizabeth, who previously shared the design credits for the Diana gown.

Grace Beverley Shares Joy of New Pregnancy

Entrepreneur Grace Beverley, 29, has opened up about her renewed hope following a second pregnancy. The founder of popular activewear brand Tala and fitness app Shreddy, who previously endured heartbreak after a miscarriage last autumn, now expresses excitement about welcoming her first child with husband Amar Daved.

“Both of us are more stressed than excited because we lost our last pregnancy,” Grace admits. “The excitement mixed with the anxiety of knowing you can’t go through that pain again so soon.”

Grace, an Oxford graduate, married Amar Daved in a three-day celebration in France last summer. Her husband, a photographer, is now the father of her first child. The couple’s journey from despair to anticipation highlights the emotional weight of their new chapter.

Erin Boag’s Son Survives Life-Threatening Injury

Strictly Come Dancing star Erin Boag, 50, shared the harrowing story of her 11-year-old son Ewan’s accident. The incident occurred during a playful game with friends, resulting in his finger being severed. Erin rushed him to Kingston’s local hospital before being transferred to St George’s for specialized care.

“When I say severed, I mean severed,” Erin explains. “They did an operation on Ewan and saved his finger.”

The New Zealand-born mother credited the NHS for her son’s recovery, expressing gratitude for the medical team’s efforts. “Everything is now looking up for Ewan,” she stated in a video post. “He’ll be back to sport and playing the piano, thanks to the NHS.”

Tali Lennox’s Medieval Birthday Celebration

Pop star Paloma Faith suggested that metropolitan Lefties, including herself, should reconsider their support for Nigel Farage’s Reform UK. “I do think the liberal Left, which I am sort of part of, have this habit of dismissing people who don’t agree with them,” she told Green Party leader Zack Polanski on her podcast. “That’s not how we’re going to win.”

Meanwhile, model and artist Tali Lennox, 33, celebrated her birthday in full Medieval attire. The look included a brown pagan-style dress, a gothic circlet, and a vintage pendant. Tali, daughter of film producer Uri Fruchtmann, completed her warrior-maiden appearance with two thick plaits.

“I like to be eclectic,” Tali previously remarked about her wardrobe choices. This flair for bold styles has now taken center stage as she marks another milestone in her life.
