Murder Arrest Over Primrose Hill Stabbing

Finbar Sullivan, a 21-year-old filmmaking student, died after being stabbed in Primrose Hill, prompting the arrest of a 27-year-old man on murder suspicion. Police responded to a report of a confrontation at the London neighborhood on Tuesday, where Sullivan was discovered fatally injured at the scene.

A second individual, in his 20s, was also found with stab wounds on Regent’s Park Road nearby. He was hospitalized, but his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. The Met Police confirmed that a 25-year-old man was detained for aiding the suspect. Both arrests occurred on Friday and are currently in police custody.

“My thoughts remain with Finbar’s family, who are receiving ongoing support from specialized officers during this deeply challenging period,” said Det Insp Andy Griffin. “Despite the two arrests, our team is still working tirelessly to identify all those connected to the incident.”

Griffin also acknowledged public assistance, thanking those who have already provided information and encouraging anyone with details or footage from the area on the day of the attack to contact authorities. He noted that heightened police activity is expected in Primrose Hill and surrounding regions as investigations continue.
